Oslo Walk and WaffleKvadraturen, 0151 OsloNo. 01 — Private, max 6

Waffles first. Then we walk.

A walk through
my neighbourhood,
with waffles first.

My name is Andreas. I have no history degree. But I live in Kvadraturen, have a waffle iron and would love to share some waffles, information about my neighbourhood, restaurant recommendations and a walk with you.

YEP, THAT'S ME. CANT PROMISE ILL WEAR SUIT AND TIE TO THE WALK THOUGH.

What this is

Not a guided tour in the big, professional sense. More like dropping in on someone you barely know, eating waffles, then walking out into the neighbourhood together.

We start at my place. Waffles, coffee, and whatever you want on them. Then we walk: the backyards in Tollbugata, the crooked corner by Christiania torv, the wharf sheds along the harbour, and the shop where I buy milk.

I tell you when I know something, and when I do not.

Ninety minutes

  1. 00:00

    The door opens

You come to my place. Shoes off, jacket over the chair back.

  2. 00:10

    Waffles

Norwegian heart waffles, straight from the iron. Coffee, or tea if you prefer.

  3. 00:35

    Out on the street

We walk slowly. Kvadraturen's grid from 1624, and everything that is not in the guidebook.

  4. 01:30

    We say goodbye

Usually by the harbour, with a tip on where to have dinner.
